still not over the oodles of romance present in that episode

from the super trope-y acceleration of Hannah’s feelings for Cas (“Oh, no, we’re not-“) to Crowley’s whole am-I-supposed-to-take-this-as-a-joke-or-not-I-can’t-tell-anymore break-up with Dean, EVERYTHING was being framed in a romantic light.

Dean and Cas, though apart right now, are living the exact same story. My casual viewer, not-at-all-a-hockey-fan husband came up with the greatest analogy for their current situation last night: it’s like the playoffs. Dean and Cas are in different divisions, playing against different teams right now. But it’s all in preparation for them to meet in the finals. The endgame, if you will.

more than willing to do the sacrifice, as long as you’re not the one getting hurt.

Where’s my brother?
